HEDGE is a boutique plant nursery & award winning garden design business based in Wellington, New Zealand.
We grow plants that give structure and style to a garden - from instant hedge to standards and topiary.
We also specialise in designing with plants using beautiful plant combinations. We will select suitable plants for your location and set them in a semi-formal garden design.

Winning Creative Designs 2010 & 2006
Our design Koru Parterre has been selected for the Wellington Botanic Garden's Innovative Garden 2010.
The koru is one of the most widely used symbols in Maori art and culture, and it has become a national icon in its many different forms. Koru Parterre explores 3 forms of koru, and is set in 3 parterres, using contemporary and native plants. Koru Parterre will be planted at the main entrance to the Gardens from July 2010 – June 2011.
Rachael Matthews also won the competition in 2006, for her design Ruby Necklace

New Releases & New Winter Stock 2010
Camellia Standards - Camellia sasanqua "Setsugeka", tall, white flowering and exceptionally fragrant en masse. This variety also makes a superb large, deep green hedge.
Favourite Rose Standards - Two of my favourites are back in stock - pretty multicoloured, long flowering Butterfly Rose Rosa chinensis "Mutabilis" and the relatively disease resistant, wine red Burgundy Iceberg.
XL Corokia Balls - Silver, Chocolate & Green Corokia XL Balls 70cm round for formal and native gardens, and as an alternative to Box Topiary.
