Clematis paniculata

Description: A beautiful evergreen climber with a spring display of starry creamy white flowers followed by fluffy seed heads.

Inspiration: Select a shaded or “cool” area where the flowers will light up dark spots.

Situation: Plant in a sheltered position in full sun or part shade, keeping the roots cool, moist and shaded at all times. You can achieve this by planting the clematis deep and by mulching.

Care: Clematis generally need moist soils to thrive. Flowers on new growth - which you can continue to twine around the frame. Apply a small application of lime in winter followed by an annual application of Osmocote in spring.

Trained over green powder coated galvanised frame 1.5m tall, with a 30cm diameter ball.
