Description: Box is the quintessential low hedge, with small dark green leaves that form dense bushes. It’s slow growing – but with Instant Box Hedge all the hard work has been done for you – saving many years of waiting for that perfect hedge.

Design Inspiration: : Box gives immediate impact and year round structure to all gardens. Classic & formal as a low hedge in courtyards and borders; a "contemporary classic" mixed with natives and grasses; or just fabulous in rectangular planter boxes along apartment balconies & decks providing shelter, privacy and green relief from hard surfaces. Pictured here: teamed up with an edging in Mondo Grass (also sold by the half metre).

Planting Conditions: Very versatile and hardy, tolerating sun, wind, frost and shade.

Care: Water well in sunny and exposed sites, including planter boxes. Feed annually with a slow release fertiliser eg Osmocote or compost if planted in the ground. Prune in February and September to maintain shape. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy.
