Conditions:

 

Coastal/wind hardy. Prefers full sun.

Features:

 

Very rewarding, providing evergreen structure, attractive red flowers in summer, and fruit in autumn. Self pollinating - so you don't need to plant with another variety to bear fruit.

 

Design Ideas:

 

Edible + provides seasonal interest and structure. OK in pots, or planted in the ground as part of a potager or vegetable garden.

Care:

 

Easy care. Moderate growing. Can trim year round, fruits on new growth. OK to hard trim to rejuvenate. Also responds to fertiliser application.
