A jewell of a entrance garden in the Glen
A lovely garden in an enclosed courtyard, designed to be looked down on and over towards marine views of Evans Bay. Features porcelain pavers with mondo grass inbetween, a jasmine espalier of the wall behind a beautiful locally made black timber seat, contemporary black pots with lavender hydrangeas, and doggie proof artificial grass.
A most enjoyable project, working with a very stylish & creative client & chef Lisa Locke, owner of The Canapé Company. The garden was already established and we have completed the outdoor living areas on the house flat, incorporating stylish landscaping details, edible native plants for cooking & garnishes, and picking flowers for floral arrangement. We continue to plant as stock becomes available. Architect - Clare Bush
A team effort with styley owner Tania and her husband Muzz, who built and meticulously looks after their beautiful garden in Brooklyn. I have helped over the years, with garden consultations on green structure, suitable plants, and topiaries 😊 Read about this project on Stuff

A lovely seasonal front entrance garden, featuring hellebores in winter, Orlaya grandiflora in spring, Hydrangea Limelights in summer, and Japanese Anemones in autumn. And in winter, in particular, you can see the garden sculptures made by owner & creative Chris, of Abstract Design on Cuba.
We have been working on different areas in this garden for these lovely clients for several years. Pictured are the front entrance courtyard, and back lawn. The street front & outdoor living areas are included in our Current Work section.
A fine example of a leafy & private, enclosed courtyard garden on a street front. I particularly love the simple seasonal textured plant palette, which compliments the duck egg fence and furniture colours. Architect - Barbara Webster
The entrance garden and shop front for super styley interior designer Kate Oppenhuis, who loves green & white gardens, not to mention Buxus balls!
We have been helping this young couple landscape their back garden. Much of the work was undertaken by hard-working Tom and his friends. At the end of the garden on a rise, we installed raised planters in old sleepers and a beautiful glasshouse from Wintergardenz. Tom and Liv started growing dahlias for their wedding in the Hawkes Bay, and now they have caught the flower growing bug and they are germinating from seed in their glasshouse, which they have been growing on at The Little Barn Garden.
The villa in Mt Vic underwent wonderful stylish renovations, opening up the back of the house to indoor outdoor living. Architect - Liz Wallace. Photos - Paul Mccredie.
